About Us

At La Providence Pediatrics and Family Clinics, pediatrician Ifeyinwa Onwudiwe, MD, enjoys taking care of children and attending to their health needs. At the two practice locations in Houston, Texas, Dr. Onwudiwe believes in working attentively with children and their families. She incorporates up-to-date educational knowledge and evidence-based medicine in her practice of pediatrics.

Dr. Onwudiwe completed her pediatric residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has over 15 years of experience in the practice of pediatrics. Additionally, Dr. Onwudiwe has also done fellowship training in Child Neurology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She is a member of the Texas Pediatric Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, Child Neurology Society, and American Academy of Neurology.

At La Providence Pediatrics and Family Clinics, the mission of Dr. Onwudiwe and the staff is to provide excellent pediatric care services to our patients and to attend to the needs of the children and their families. Along with offering preventive services, like well child checkups, vaccinations, and bloodwork, families also have access to sick visits and sports physicals.

To better serve their patients, telemedicine appointments are also available to anyone who cannot visit the office in person.
